Myrlie Evers-Williams - A civil rights leader and reporter, Ms. Evers-Williams worked hard to bring justice for her husband, the civil rights leader, Medgar Evers, after his murder in 1963. She continued to work tirelessly for the civil rights cause and ran for that congress of California and also served as the first female chair of the NAACP.
